Never leave a candle unattended while it is burning
Never pick up a candle and move it while it is burning
Trim the wick back 1/4 of an inch before relighting for a cleaner, slower burn

Please take the time to light your candle properly for the first burn, allowing the wax to melt out to the edges of the container. Avoiding this step for the first burn may create what is called a "tunnel ring", meaning when you go to relight your candel it will only burn out to the ring, and creat a whole down the center of the candle.
